The book of James has 5 chapters. The focus of the book of James is the need to obey God’s word and have a faith in God that is demonstrated in living a life pleasing to God. Christian faith must be put into action. Christians are to put their faith in action by living godly lives and helping those in need. Christians focus on the eternal rather than the temporal. Christians are willing to suffer for Christ in this life because of their heavenly focus.
