Episode 9: The Book of Acts: Navigating the Bible Content and Message Part 7

This episode focuses on learning some of the content and message of the one history book of the New Testament, which is the book of Acts. Acts is not only a history of the beginning of the church but is also a continuation of the Book of Luke. The Book of Acts gives examples of some of the preaching of the Apostles and shows the main theological concerns of the early church. The book of Acts shows how the Apostles preached the Old Testament to the Jews resulting in many conversions to Christianity from the Jewish community. The Book of Acts shows how God’s word was spread to the Gentiles so that both Jews and Gentiles comprised the membership of the early church. Acts further shows how God wanted Jews and Gentiles alike to live in the light of the Old Testament law.
